4.1 Books
- Operations Management, by Russel and Taylor: My first book on Operations Management, an excellent introductory book. Gives a taste of the various facets of Operations (Inventory, Facility Location, Facility Design, Resource Planning, Supply Chain Management and so on).
- Supply Chain Management: Strategy, Planning and Operation by Chopra and Meindl: A detailed introduction to Supply Chain management and logistics. This is the book my Operations professor recommended when I asked him what I had to do in order to deep dive.
- DHL: From Startup to Global Upstart: DHL is a well-known logistics company and this book is about its story. DHL is a California based start-up which is acquired by Deutsche Post in the early 2000s, then it goes on to become the world leader in logistics service. Its not really a technical book, but if one is fascinated by Logistics, they might end up liking it. Book is available on libgen.
